Military expert and founder of the charitable organization “Reactive Mail” Pavlo Narozhnyi stated on Radio NV about the serious threat of massive attacks by the Russian occupiers, who have accumulated a significant number of “Shahed” kamikaze drones. According to him, August and September were record months for the number of enemy drones launched, which indicates preparations for intensified attacks in the conditions of the approaching heating season.
"They are constantly striking. It is obvious that the Russians were accumulating "shaheeds" before the heating season, because infrastructure facilities are the highest priority for them," Narozhny noted. The expert also believes that Russia is increasing the production of drones, although the figures officially announced by them may be exaggerated.
According to Narozhny, one should not expect the enemy to stop its attacks. “They are attacking in absolutely all directions, and we need to be ready to repel all attacks,” he stressed. The military expert called for preparation for new threats from Russian forces, as the enemy's activity will continue.
In September, Kyiv became the target of air attacks by the occupiers for the fourth time. On the night of September 30, the enemy used Shahed-type strike drones, which entered the city in waves from different directions. The air alert in the capital lasted for more than five hours, but the air defense forces were able to neutralize all enemy drones that threatened Kyiv.
Last night, Russian troops struck Ukraine with missiles of various types and strike drones. In total, the Air Force radio-technical troops detected and tracked 76 enemy air attack vehicles. As a result of the air combat, one Kh-59/69 guided missile and 67 Shahed strike UAVs were shot down in various regions, including Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Mykolaiv.
