On Monday, June 23, at the border of Krakowiec-Korchov on the border with Poland, Lviv customs officers seized a considerable amount of unsecured cash-50 thousand euros and $ 91,000. At the NBU rate, it is almost UAH 6.3 million. This was reported by the Lviv Customs.
The car in which the driver and five passengers were located to Poland through the Green Corridor - a route that provides for the lack of luggage or funds to be declared compulsory. However, during checking in the trunk, the machines were found in an equivalent of more than 200 thousand euros.
Since each of the six passengers can only export up to 10,000 euros without declaring, customs officers have only allowed to export 60,000 euros. The rest of the money - 50 thousand euros and $ 91 thousand - was temporarily withdrawn.
Upon the violation, an administrative protocol was drawn up in accordance with Part 1 of Art. 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The withdrawn funds will be kept until the final resolution of the case.
