The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine announced the release of the documentary film "Unfinished Flight" dedicated to the deceased Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi. The film reveals the phenomenon of Monastyrskyi's personality, his value orientations and reformist ideas, which he embodied even before the war. The film also examines his tough and often controversial decisions made during a full-scale Russian invasion to defend the state.
Among the film's participants were such personalities as Valery Zaluzhny, Kyrylo Budanov, Ruslan Stefanchuk, Denys Shmyhal, Zhanna Monastyrska, Oleksiy Reznikov, Mykhailo Fedorov, Igor Klymenko, Anton Gerashchenko, Viktor Andrusiv. About 40 interviews with colleagues, friends and relatives of Denys Monastyrskyi were filmed.
The premiere of the film will take place on the telethon "Edyny Novyny" on January 18 at 10:00 p.m.
