The new payment system in Ukraine: an overview of tariffs and bank services

The creation of the "Prozora Merezh" payment system was initiated by the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine, which also received support from the banking community, business and international partners. The Association (NABU) informs about this project and its advantages.

"This is our test project, aimed at becoming not only an association that provides assistance, but also a platform for launching new innovative projects on the market," noted NABU Board Chairman Volodymyr Mudryi.

The participants expect that during the next two years "Prozora Merezh" will process at least 30% of all retail payments and 80% of money transfers within Ukraine.

The main advantages of the new system include:

  • Calculation speed in a few seconds.
  • Free P2P transfers.
  • Lower commission percentages for sellers compared to other payment systems.
  • The system is built on the basis of the NBU Electronic Payment System (SEP) and ensures the absence of intermediaries between banks and compliance with legislation.

How to use the system:

To use the system, customers need:

  1. In the mobile application of your bank, show or scan the QR code when paying in the store.
  2. Select the "Transparent Network" option on the website during online payment and confirm the payment.
  3. For P2P transfer, find a contact in the phone book or send a QR code or link through any messenger.

More detailed information about "Prozora Merezh" can be found on the website prozora.network or contact the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine.
