The Economic Development Committee, under the leadership of Chairman Dmytro Natalukha, is actively discussing economic reservation initiatives, which give employers the opportunity to independently identify strategically important employees for business and pay 20,000 UAH per month in military service for each of them, and continue to work and pay the necessary taxes to ensure the Defense and Security Forces.
"The business must continue to work, despite any difficulties, so economical booking becomes necessary," notes Natalukha. "Without business taxes, there will be no funds to support our military. This is an obvious truth, although it may be unpleasant for some people."
According to him, economic reservation involves a new mechanism of cooperation between business and the state, aimed at preserving the country's economy.
However, together with the concept of economic reservation, economic mobilization can serve as a partial alternative, notes the chairman of the subcommittee on interaction between the state and business and investments, Ihor Marchuk.
"Economic mobilization consists in the fact that the business mobilizes its resources to provide the necessary services and perform works that can be more effectively performed by it," Marchuk explains. “This can include areas such as procurement, logistics, healthcare and others. This approach allows to save state budget funds and provide additional funding for military needs."
He calls for awareness that the main source of funds for the state is the working economy and taxpayers. "Without the economy, there will be no funds to finance the army," Marchuk emphasizes.
