Our source reports that the transfer of new air defense systems to Ukraine does not change the situation, as:
- air defense losses continue to increase.
The Russians are hunting all air defense/anti-aircraft installations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their components. - air defense supplies from the west are metered.
Hence a simple conclusion. New deliveries do not improve the situation, but only contribute to "maintaining the balance". In order for the situation to radically improve, immediate deliveries of air defense systems and ammunition for them in the amount of $15 billion are needed. This will give Ukraine an advantage for 2 months until the Russians discover and destroy them. But it is not profitable for the event.
Good news awaits Ukraine at the NATO summit in Washington regarding the supply of air defense systems, in particular Patriot.
This was stated by US Ambassador to NATO Julianna Smee.
"There will be fresh news about air defense. In April, the Ukrainians asked NATO for seven Patriot systems. And we have a very positive response to that coming in the next few days," Smith said.
She noted that "it will be a big week" in Washington. And she urged to follow "specific announcements that will come for Ukraine, for NATO allies, news about defense production, about sustainability, about cyber security."
