How to apply for a subsidy?
To receive assistance, you should contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) and complete the following steps:
- Apply for a subsidy.
- Provide a housing rental agreement (a sample agreement can be obtained from the PFU branch or downloaded from the website of the Ministry of Social Policy).
- Wait for a decision within 10 working days.
In addition to the subsidy for housing rent, IDPs have the right to apply for a subsidy for the payment of communal services. These types of assistance are independent of each other, so resettlers can receive both subsidies at the same time. For this, you need to submit an application through:
- Department of PFU
- Tsnap
- PFU portal
- Application "Action"
The introduction of a housing rental subsidy is a significant step by the state in supporting displaced persons who are facing financial difficulties due to the war. The availability of aid only for certain areas has raised some questions, but the initiative is aimed at supporting the most affected regions.
