The Kyiv City Commercial Court upheld the claim of Novus Ukraine LLC against Kyivmiskbud Public Joint Stock Company and ordered the municipal developer to pay 1 million 550 thousand 828 US dollars and 80 cents. The corresponding decision was made by Judge Maryna Lytvynova on December 22, 2025.
As follows from the court decision, a contract of sale of property rights No. 20350/RN-N was concluded between the companies on February 1, 2019. According to the agreement, Kyivmiskbud undertook to complete the construction of the facility within the specified time frame and transfer property rights to the customer, Novus Ukraine LLC.
However, as the court found, the utility company failed to fulfill its obligations on time and did not transfer the property rights to the buyer. This became the basis for Novus Ukraine to apply to the court with a demand to recover the paid funds from Kyivmiskbud.
The court agreed with the plaintiff's arguments and found the claims to be well-founded, deciding to fully satisfy the claim.
It is worth noting that from February 2024 to May 2025, Kyivmiskbud was headed by Vasyl Oliynyk, who is associated in the market with the business orbit of developer Vladyslav Molchanova. Previously, he managed the companies Monolit Stroyservice and Spetsstroy-Monolit, which built residential estates, where the developer was Stolitsa Group.
According to journalistic investigations, the company Novus Ukraine is also included in the orbit of this development group, which increases public interest in this court decision.
