The criminal proceedings against the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, received a new impetus. As it became known, investigators are investigating a new episode related to suspicion of treason.
We will remind that after the annexation of Crimea by Russia, the enterprise "Sevastopol Marine Plant", which belonged to P. Poroshenko, entered into correspondence with the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. In this correspondence, the plant and its manager Kostiantyn Kartoshkin stated that Sevastopol is a Russian city of federal importance, and also provided relevant information about the financial and economic indicators of the enterprise to the Russian authority.
In addition, his manager spoke on P. Poroshenko's "Five Channel", where he stated that Sevastopol has an uncertain, or rather unclear status, periodically using the phrase "in Ukraine".
P. Poroshenko has a joint business with K. Kartoshkin. Despite the fact that he entered into collaboration with the Russian authorities on behalf of Poroshenko's company, P. Poroshenko appointed him the head of one of the largest state-owned military factories - Zorya-Mashproekt.
One of the proofs of P. Poroshenko's cooperation with the Russian authorities is that the Russian authorities did not nationalize his plant for a long time, unlike many other Ukrainian companies that were nationalized immediately.
