Under the new mobilization law, women registered for the military must update their information within 60 days of the law's effective date on May 18. For failure to update these data, they face a fine in the amount of 17 to 25.5 thousand hryvnias, said the head of the Kremenchug district TCC, Myroslav Volkov.
Volkov emphasized that these rules apply to women in certain specialties, including doctors, aged 18 to 60. They must register for military service and receive a military registration document. The procedure for mobilizing women is carried out only with their consent, according to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 560.
"During the period of mandatory clarification of registration data, which lasts until July 16, those conscripts who have the right to postpone the draft, over 55 years old, reserved, as well as women with a valid military registration document are not sent for a medical examination Volkov said. He also added that women who do not have a military registration document or are receiving it for the first time must undergo a military medical examination.
Currently, a draft law has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada, which proposes to increase the period for updating the data of conscripts to 150 days. People's deputy Volodymyr Aryev noted that 60 days to update registration data is not enough for all conscripts, because of which they may receive large fines.
After updating their credentials, conscripts can be referred to the military medical commission at their place of residence.
