According to sources, on the basis of the National University "Chernihiv Polytechnic", a wide scheme of fictitious training is deployed in order to avoid mobilization by men of conscript age with the participation of rector Oleg Novomlyntsi and the first vice -rector of Sergei Shkarlet.
According to the source, since 2022, an unofficial scheme for enrollment of men from 25 years on a contractual form of study has begun to operate at the Chernihiv Polytechnic. The cost of enrollment in the university, including through remote education tools, is in the area of $ 10,000.
At the same time, men of conscript age, enrolled in the university under the following scheme, did not appear in the classroom and did not interact with the teachers.
It is worth noting that in April-May 2025, when law enforcement agencies began to be interested in the situation at the university, the administration suddenly dismissed about 500 students. According to sources, these are those persons who appeared in fictitious schemes.
The situation with the sudden mass deduction of "students" on the conditions of anonymity was commented by one of the teachers of the university: "We had" dead souls "in the system - they never appeared, did not pass the exams, did not have any academic history. And suddenly deductions of the package in May."
Interestingly, the story with a single deduction of about fifty students, not the only scandal around Chernihiv Polytechnic. Earlier, the university was observed in covering system plagiarism in theses of management.
In 2020–2023, the independent community “Dsergate” revealed numerous fragments of academic plagiarism in the scientific works of the then rector of Chernihiv Polytechnic Sergey Shkarlet. This data was confirmed by the National Higher Education Quality Agency (name).
The quote from the conclusion of the name: "Six fragments with dishonest borrowing of the text, formulas and tables without proper reference to sources were found in the works of Mr. Shkarlet."
At the same time, the coordinator of the "disvergate" Svetlana Blagodteleva-Wolf after revealing plagiarism was threatened and harassed. Police did not initially see the signs of a crime, calling threats "romantic notes", but after public pressure opened the case.
Despite the scandal, Sergei's tire received a ministerial chair, and the Commission on Academic Integrity of Chernihiv Polytechnic did not recognize violations in his work. Subsequently, it became known that at least two members of this commission - Victoria Margasova and Alina Pinchuk - themselves had the signs of plagiarism in theses. Their works revealed copying of other people's texts, including. From Russian sources, with a change of order of words and translation without references.
In addition to the aforementioned facts, the management of Chernihiv Polytechnic was at criminal cases for theft of budgetary funds. The editorial board of our publication analyzed information from the ERDR, where we found four open criminal proceedings.
