OASK paid hundreds of millions after a scandal

While the Ukrainians reach drones, they sit without light and pay more and more for the communal, the judges of one of the most individual courts of the country - the liquidated OASK - quietly and confidently receive millions from the budget. Over the past two years, until this court has been forgotten, his judges received UAH 157 million salaries. On average - 3 million per each. During this time, the OASK did not make decisions, had no authority, and some of his judges even became the defendants of disciplinary proceedings.

This is all - from the official response of the State Judicial Administration, provided at the request of Glavkom journalists.

According to the documents, 43 judges remained in the state of the liquidated court. And even after the Verkhovna Rada in December 2022 voted in favor of the liquidation of the OASK, the Judicial Caste continued to receive a salary-more than a year.

Payments are not included in the calculation for court employees (which are 24 more), that is, the real costs were even higher. While Ukrainians lose their homes and loved ones, Pavel Vovk and the company receive salaries that are at times exceeding the income of even high -ranking officials.

According to the source in the High Council of Justice, disciplinary proceedings have already been opened against five former Judges of OASK: Pavel Grigorovich, Vitaliy Ameleokhin, Vladimir Keleberda, Marina Boyarinseva and Igor Pogribnychenko. It is expected that in the next two months the number of persons involved will increase, and the first liberation may occur in the summer.

However, Ukrainians have repeatedly seen how such "proceedings" are delayed for years, and as a result, judges receive either minimal penalties or come dry out of water.

This court became a squeezing ulcer in the Ukrainian judicial system long before its liquidation verdict. In 2019-2020, NABU published the so-called "wolf film", which recorded how judges decide which politicians to "wet" as "appoint" management in the High Qualifications Commission and the High Council of Justice. The court was actually transformed into a private firm for political and business interest.

The apotheosis of cynicism was that before the most full -scale war, the OASK took the claim ... Viktor Yanukovych! He tried to challenge his removal from the post of president and achieve the cancellation of the early 2014 elections. Why it took this right then is a rhetorical question. One of the versions - the judges simply took time, expecting that Russian troops would capture Kiev, and it will be possible to quickly make the right decision in the interests of the Kremlin.

Yanukovych's claims were considered by the end of April 2022, after the start of full -scale aggression. After that, the court's activities were stopped.

The maintenance of former Judges of OASK, who are actually in the state "neither fish nor meat", has already cost taxpayers of more than UAH 157 million. And this is only part of the amount. The judges received salaries in the absence of full functioning of the institution. At the same time, a number of of them can potentially continue work in the updated Kyiv City District Administrative Court or in other courts.

Even after the official liquidation of the court, his figures remain in the game. They retain influence, connections, and, most dangerous, is the lack of real punishment. Without decisive purification and real prosecution, the Wolf Courts will continue to manage the shadows.

And Ukrainians - will pay again for their impunity.
