Cybercriminals continue to use phishing sites to steal the banking data of Ukrainians. They provide buyers on trading platforms and send fake references to the sellers for "payment confirmation", and then provide access to bank accounts victim.
Fraudsters use counterfeit sites and fake links to lure personal data on trading venues. It is reported by the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine.

An example of such a scheme:
Step 1. The fraudster pretends to buy the item. The attacker writes the seller at the OLX trading floor, demonstrating interest in the product. He proposes to transfer communication to the Telegram messenger, motivating it allegedly technical problems with the display of photos on the OLX platform.
Step 2. The scammer in the messenger announces the readiness to buy the goods and proposes to arrange departure through a "new mail" with full prepayment on the card. To do this, he asks the seller's card number for payment and sends the address to deliver the goods.
Step 3. He assures that he has paid and sends a phishing link stylized under the bank's authorization page where the seller is offered to confirm the receipt of funds.
Step 4. Explains data through a fraudulent site.
The seller is offered to enter the mobile phone number, card number and PIN code to confirm the receipt of the funds on the physhing page.
Step 5. The fraudster steals money. The fraudsters are used to bind the user's account to a new device or to online autonments on the portal of the respective bank, which enables them to withdraw funds from the victim's account.
