The decision on the reduction and transfer of some powers to the territorial picking centers has not yet been made. However, discussions on this topic continue. This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Dmytro Lazutkin, during the telethon.
Dmytro Lazutkin commented on the idea of transferring some powers to civil bodies. He emphasized that no specific decision has been made yet.
"Currently, there is no concrete solution, but discussions continue. The initiative to make this process more understandable, similar to the work of TsNAPs, is attractive. It is being considered and discussed," he said.
The spokesman also emphasized that at the moment there is no other information regarding the possible reduction of the powers of territorial procurement centers and their transfer to other bodies.
We will remind you that recently there was a scandal in Odesa related to the territorial procurement center. Employees of the center detained the paramedics who arrived on call for several hours. This led to a conflict between medical workers and military personnel, after which law enforcement agencies opened a criminal case for violation of public order. As a result, People's Deputy Yehor Chernev expressed the idea of possibly limiting the powers of territorial recruitment centers with the aim of transferring them to civilian structures.
