The Defense Committee of the Council voted for an amendment to the draft law on mobilization, according to which those who entered the army through recruitment will not be sent anywhere.
People's deputy Vyatrovych announced this on his Facebook.
According to him, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff insisted on the right to send the man to serve anywhere. Whereas amendment No. 1197 guarantees conscription in the part to which he was recruited.
"The amendment guarantees that if a person independently came to the TCC with an application from a military unit that wants to hire this particular specialist for a specific position, the person will be sent to this particular unit, and not anywhere else," Vyatrovych wrote.
According to him, the discussion in the committee was "tumultuous". Representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff insisted on the right to send a person anywhere, and to limit recruiting to a small number of units identified as priority.
At the same time, the Defense Committee of the Parliament supported an amendment to the law on mobilization, according to which employees of the TCC will have to introduce themselves and present their IDs when summonses are served.
This was reported by People's Deputy Dmytro Razumkov.
According to the amendment, during the delivery of a summons, representatives of the TCC will be required to state their surnames, first names, patronymics, and position, as well as present official IDs at the request of the citizen to whom the summons is served.
"However, the committee did not support another amendment, which gives citizens the right to also take photos and videos when serving summonses to them. We will insist on its consideration during the consideration of the draft law in the session hall," added Razumkov.
Yesterday, People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko reported that the defense committee considered about 600 amendments and reached amendment 1505. There are more than 4,000 of them in total.
