On Wednesday in the morning, investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation conducted a search of Svetlana Paniaotidi lawyer - the former Deputy Minister of Economics and the Executive Committee of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. This was reported by her husband, an extolist of Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolev.
According to Kobolev, the security forces arrived at 6:30 in the morning and left the apartment only after lunch. During the search, Paniaotidi's working computer, two mobile phones (one of which belongs to Kobolev), as well as two old password units were removed.
Kobolev stated that investigators operated without a court order and without the participation of a representative of the Council of Advocates, which directly violates the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
As it became known from the words of lawyer Paniaotidi Taras Poshivanyuk, the search concerns the case of 2015 - the then permission of the Antimonopoly Committee to purchase the Samara - Western Direction Pipeline Swiss company International Trading Partners.
In social networks, they mentioned the possible belonging of the lawyer to the circle close to Boris Lozhkin. In particular, blogger Volodymyr Bondarenko writes that Panaiotidi could have been close to the architect of the schemes of the so -called "large theft", as well as affiliated with a number of people from the "Lozhkinsky Pool", including Yuri Golik, Oleksandr Kubrakov, Olena Shlyak, Valentin Raznichenko, Kubrakov.
At this point, law enforcement officers have not officially commented the search. Kobolev himself called the events an attempt at pressure and violation of lawyers.
