The head of ARMA explained where Medvedchuk's arrested yacht sailed

The measures to confirm the technical capabilities of Medvedchuk's yacht were carried out by decision of a Croatian court

Viktor Medvedchuk's arrested yacht, Royal Romance, temporarily departed from the Adria Docks shipyard in Trogir, Croatia, on January 25 to confirm its technical capabilities, buoyancy, and engine operation. This was reported by ARMA head Olena Duma.

According to the head of the Asset Management and Tracing Agency, these measures were carried out pursuant to a decision of the District Court of Split (Croatia). To ensure legality, the process was monitored by the Port Captain with the participation of Croatian police officers during the technical inspection.

"In addition, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia - Head of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Support for Ukraine, Frano Matušić, was informed of the decision of the Split District Court to transfer the Royal Romance vessel to Ukraine based on a request for international legal assistance. Assurances were received that Croatia expects the vessel to be transferred to Ukraine as soon as possible. According to the Croatian side, there are no legal obstacles to the implementation of this intention," the report says.

As the Duma noted, ARMA received approval to conduct a second inspection of Medvedchuk's yacht.

"After evaluating the seized asset, ARMA plans to sell it. The sale of this lot will be the first example of the sale of seized assets located abroad," she added.

As reported, the superyacht Royal Romance, which was arrested in 2022 due to sanctions against Viktor Medvedchuk, has departed from the Croatian port of Trogir. It seems to have a new owner.

Earlier, representatives of the Asset Management and Tracing Agency (ARMA) during a working trip to the Republic of Croatia (November 13-22) inspected the arrested yacht belonging to family members of the People's Deputy and one of the leaders of the banned political force in Ukraine, Viktor Medvedchuk.

Recall, on March 16, it became known that Croatian law enforcement officers arrested the luxury yacht of Putin's godfather, MP from the pro-Russian faction "Opposition Platform - For Life" Viktor Medvedchuk. Later, they tried to hide the Royal Romance yacht from sanctions. This was reported by the Sludstvo.Info agency. Then, according to the Equasis.org resource, the yacht was reregistered from the offshore company of Medvedchuk's wife Oksana Marchenko, Fregata Marine Ltd, to another - Lanelia Holdings Ltd (registered in the Marshall Islands).

As reported, the superyacht Royal Romance, which belongs to traitor Viktor Medvedchuk and was arrested in Croatia, will be sold at auction, with the money transferred to Ukraine.
