Vitaliy Shulga, chairman of the board of JSC “Ivano-Frankivskgas” and the person involved in the case of large-scale gas frauds, instead of responding to the law, decided to escape from justice, enrollment in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Law enforcement officers raised Schulzi suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 27, Part 5 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (appropriation, misappropriation of property or seizure by abuse of office). However, instead of arriving before the court, it urgently mobilized to the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces.
Despite the official status of a serviceman, he did not actively participate in the fighting of Shulga. This raises suspicion that service in the army has become a way for him to avoid responsibility.
The luxurious life of the daughter of a suspect
Meanwhile, Vitaliy Shulga's daughter, Diana, instead of helping the army with her own funds, publicly gathers to the brigade in which her father serves.

However, Diana owns a significant amount of real estate, in particular:
- Three houses
- Four rooms
- Three apartments (in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and the city of Valley)
In this case, Diana continues to lead a carefree life, traveling the world and resting in luxury locations. For example, last year she, along with her beloved Ruslan Semirg, was resting at Edem Resort Medical & SPA, one of the most expensive hotels in Ukraine.

Vitaliy Shulga's case is another example of how corrupt cases avoid responsibilities using war as a cover. Despite the suspicion of stealing funds and participation in Firtash-Medvedchuk's gas schemes, he remains at large and does not even appear before court.
At the same time, his family enjoys an elite life while Ukrainians donate the last money to help the front.
