The Russian military has intensified hostilities in the Donetsk region. A mechanized column of the invaders, consisting of four units of equipment, stormed the village of Novosilka, landing troops. This was reported by the analytical project DeepState , which monitors the situation on the front.
“Once again, the tactics of the kat*pni are noticeable, when a tank, most likely equipped with electronic warfare equipment, is ahead of the column, and the crew of the vehicle was confident in its invulnerability,” the report says.
It is noted that the column passed the BrRO of one of the brigades, entered the village and landed the troops actually in the rear of the adjacent unit. “When the equipment left, it began to be attacked, in particular, by adjacent units of the Presidential Brigade. Currently, there are about 20 infantrymen in the village, who are trying to gain a foothold, hiding in houses,” DeepState reports.
At the same time, the project adds that the occupiers will try to drive the Ukrainian military out of the village, "and they will not survive long.".
War in Ukraine – latest news from the front
As UNIAN reported, Pavlo Lakiychuk, head of security programs at the Strategy XXI global studies center, noted that the occupiers, having regrouped, launched a second wave of the offensive in Donbas.
He noted that in the Pokrovsky direction, the Ukrainian military powerfully restrained the enemy, which led to serious losses on his part, so the occupiers had to delay their forces to regroup.
According to Lakiychuk, the Ukrainian Defense Forces used this time to counterattack southwest and northeast of Pokrovsk and made progress in critical directions.
At the same time, he added that, probably, the occupiers have completed their regrouping and yesterday the number of clashes increased by one and a half times. Lakiychuk believes that, having regrouped forces and accumulated reserves, the enemy is resorting to a second wave of offensive in Donbas.
