According to information from the military analytical publication DeepState, Russian troops continue to actively advance in the east of Ukraine. They not only expand the area of control, but also try to strengthen their positions by forcing the Oskil River on a new section of the front.
Russian occupying troops once again forced the Oskil River in Kharkiv Oblast. It happened near the village of Masyutivka, the DeepState project reports.
"Already the second enemy bridgehead on the western bank of the Oskil River was formed near Masyutivka. Katsaps are trying to strengthen themselves south of Dvorichna," the report says.
In addition, near Novomlynsk, the Russian invaders tried to reach Figolivka. The enemy has failed.
"While the situation is difficult, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are trying to stabilize it," DeepState added.
The authors also illustrated the message about the forcing of the Oskil River with a map:
It will be recalled that DeepState previously reported that the occupiers landed across the Oskil River south of the village of Novomlynsk.
