Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi held a working meeting to discuss improving the training of Ukrainian military personnel. As Syrskyi himself reported in his Facebook post, the key focus of the meeting was the importance of high-quality training at all stages to save the lives of soldiers.
“The lives of our soldiers are priceless, and the most important prerequisite for its preservation is high-quality training at all stages,” the Commander-in-Chief emphasized.
Involvement of management
The meeting was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, training centers, and combat brigades, who provided reports on the current status of the training system, the number of instructors, and the provision of the necessary weapons and equipment.
Pilot project and program update
Special attention was paid to the pilot project, which is already being implemented in military training centers. It involves increasing the duration of basic general military training (BGMT) from 1 to 1.5 months. The updated program was developed taking into account the current needs and challenges faced by Ukrainian military personnel at the front.
These measures are aimed at increasing the combat readiness and effectiveness of the military, which is critically important in the context of the continuation of the war.
