WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk, after a convincing victory over Briton Tyson Fury, shared his impressions of the performance of the national anthem of Ukraine before the fight. The anthem at the stadium was performed by popular Ukrainian singer Artem Pivovarov.
The boxer spoke favorably about the Ukrainian performer, reports Boxing King Media.
"This is a great guy. Very energetic. Good music," Usyk noted.
The boxer also said that he was ready to record a song with Pivovarov, who expressed such a desire.
"With Artem? We'll do it, yes, of course," Usyk said.
On the night of December 21-22, in a rematch, Usyk defeated Fury by unanimous decision and retained the heavyweight championship titles. In May, the Ukrainian won by split decision in the first fight.
