Ukrainian super heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk, WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world champion, spoke in an interview with Forbes about his preparation for the upcoming fight against British Tyson Fury. The fight promises to be historic, because at stake is the title of absolute world champion in super heavyweight.
In particular, Usyk noted that he will fight "for the whole country" in the match. According to him, the character of the winner and "unbreakable team" will help him.
"Nowadays I am motivated by what and how I do. When you set a task for yourself and you succeed in it, it is very energizing. And when something doesn't work out, I'll always continue until it does," said the boxer.
He also shared his impressions of the final days before the fight against Fury:
"We can say that these are media days - communication with the press, activities that "spread" the fight around the world. But as an athlete, I try to be less involved in it. My main task is boxing. There is also training, about an hour of time - mainly cardio and keeping in shape."
