Ukrainian midfielder Oleksandr Zubkov, who has excelled at Shakhtar and the Ukrainian national team, is moving to Turkish club Trabzonspor. According to reputable Turkish journalist Sedar, the transfer is in its final stages.

Trabzonspor offered the Donetsk club 3.5 million euros plus bonuses. This decision was approved by both Shakhtar's management and the player himself. The 28-year-old winger has already agreed on the terms of the contract and is ready to continue his career in Turkey.
Zubkov is a graduate of Shakhtar's academy, where he took his first steps in professional football. In 2020, he joined Hungarian side Ferencvaros, where he gained international experience. In 2022, the player returned to his home club.
