Oleksiy Hnatkovsky became the sexiest artist of Ukraine

This year, the winner of the "Golden Lifon" award, which is chosen by online voting from the most attractive cultural figures of Ukraine, was the actor Oleksiy Hnatkovskyi.

The 38-year-old star of the movie "Dovbush" was recognized as the sexiest artist of Ukraine.

Last year, the award was renamed "Kevlar Lifon", because it was awarded only to those cultural figures who went to war. It was awarded to the poet Artem Polezhaka.

This year, the organizers of the competition left the "Kevlar Lifon" for a special award.

It was awarded collectively to Ukrainian military women, volunteers and combat medics associated with art.

A talent for improvisation and a sense of humor

38-year-old actor and director Oleksiy Hnatkovskyi was born in Ivano-Frankivsk, became an Honored Artist of Ukraine in 2014 and currently works at the Ivano-Frankivsk Academic Drama Theater named after Ivan Franko.

Hnatkovskyi became known to the general public after the film "Dovbush" by Oles Sanin. He played Ivan, the brother of the legendary gunman Oleksa Dovbush.

The film began to be prepared for filming as far back as 2017, and it was released in the summer of 2023.

The organizers of the "Golden Lifon" award explain Hnatkovsky's victory like this.

"He exudes strength and steel and makes you want to listen and look into his eyes. Eyes are a separate world, limitless to madness. The voice is velvet... Great talent for improvisation, ingenuity, sharp mind. And a sense of humor - because without it you will not become a sex symbol."

They also jokingly add that the role of Ivan Dovbush was invented only so that "we would know how fantastic this Oleksii Hnatkovskyi is."

The "Golden Lifon" award is presented for the fifth time.

Everyone can vote on the award page, offering their ten most attractive men of Ukrainian culture.

Writers Serhii Zhadan, Yuriy Izdryk and Artem Polezhaka have already won the competition. This year, for the first time, an actor became the main Ukrainian sex symbol.

Poet Serhii Zhadan received the award twice. He promised to hand over his "Golden Liphon" to the Kharkiv Literary Museum. But in December 2023, during the performance of the Zhadan and Dogs band, the organizers of the award sold the same bra embroidered with gold lace at a charity auction for the benefit of the Armed Forces.

The organizers decided to leave the special vehicle "Kevlar Lifon" as long as the war continues. Although this award is usually given only to men, the organizers of the competition made an exception this year.

"Yes, our award has a feminist nature... and there are already enough beauty contests and objectification of women... But this Kevlar liphon award is just about your subjectivity. You have taken matters into your own hands and are working to win," the organizing committee explained.
