According to sources, Oleksiy Poroshenko, who is in Great Britain with his youngest son Mykhailo, has already ignored the summons for the second time.
Oleksiy, who received the military rank of reserve lieutenant, did not appear before the TCC according to two summonses sent to him on September 4 and October 21, 2024. After that, he was declared wanted.
The reaction of the Poroshenko family to the situation did not take long: Petro Poroshenko himself refused to comment on the search warrant for his son. However, the military and journalists expressed outrage at the statements of the former president, who claimed that he participated in the defense of Kyiv while others fled. The military also accuse Poroshenko of lying about his son's involvement in the events surrounding the Ilovaisk boiler, since Oleksiy Poroshenko was not near Ilovaisk.
The defenders also suggested that Oleksiy Poroshenko join the air defense forces in order to defend Kyiv and not hide in London.
