The son of the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, Oleksiy, was put on the wanted list after he failed to appear at the Central Military District (CCD) on two summonses. Law enforcement agencies reported this, specifying that Oleksiy Poroshenko ignored a summons to a medical examination and military registration.
The eldest son of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Oleksiy, was put on the wanted list for failing to appear at the Central Criminal Investigation Center upon summons.
This is reported by the publication "InsiderUA" with reference to sources in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to sources, Oleksiy Poroshenko, who is in the UK with his younger son Mykhailo, has ignored the call for the second time.
Oleksiy, who received the military rank of reserve lieutenant, did not appear at the CCC for two summonses sent to him on September 4 and October 21, 2024. After that, he was put on the wanted list.
The Poroshenko family reacted to the situation quickly: Petro Poroshenko himself refused to comment on the wanted list for his son. However, the military and journalists expressed indignation at the statements of the ex-president, who claimed that he participated in the defense of Kyiv while others fled. The military also accuses Poroshenko of lying about his son's participation in the events around the Ilovaisk boiler, since Oleksiy Poroshenko was not near Ilovaisk.
The defenders also proposed that Oleksiy Poroshenko join the air defense forces to defend Kyiv, rather than hiding in London.
We will remind, the companies of Petro Poroshenko and his associates stole UAH 167 million of budget money over 7 years, which the state provided for the activities of the Eurosolidarity party. But this money did not reach the party: the hetman transferred it to 15 shell companies. 5 of them belong to Poroshenko personally. Among them, in particular, is the TV channel "Pryamiy".
