While her father and brother are in pre-trial detention on suspicion of multi-million-dollar corruption, Olga Hrynkevich celebrated her birthday in one of the most expensive corners of Europe - the Principality of Monaco.
A video has surfaced on social media showing the celebration taking place in an elite restaurant overlooking the Cote d'Azur. The footage shows exquisite dishes, expensive champagne, live music, and a carefree atmosphere.
Meanwhile, her father, Ihor Hrynkevich, and brother Roman are in custody on suspicion of participating in corruption schemes related to state procurement in the construction of military facilities. The case is being handled by the NABU, and the suspects themselves are called figures in one of the most high-profile cases of the war period.
According to the investigation, the Hrynkevichs, with the help of fictitious companies, could have received hundreds of millions of hryvnias for the construction of defense infrastructure, without complying with the requirements for quality, deadlines, and reporting.
