The Olympic saber of Ukrainian fencer Olga Harlan was sold at a charity auction for a record 10 million hryvnias. All funds received will be directed to the support of the Ukrainian military, in particular, to the purchase of automated turrets "ShaBlya" for the Ukrainian infantry.
Ukrainian volunteer and TV presenter Serhiy Prytula promised that all funds from the sale of sabers will be used to purchase automated turrets "ShaBlya" for the Ukrainian infantry.
The saber of the Olympic champion Olga Harlan was sold at an auction for 10 million hryvnias: the funds will be used for the purchase of automated turrets "ShaBlya" for the Armed Forces. This is confirmed by the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation.
"The saber of the two-time Olympic champion, the most decorated Ukrainian athlete in the history of the Olympics, Olga Harlan, was just sold for UAH 10,000,000! All funds are directed to the purchase of automated turrets "ShaBlya" for our infantry! Thanks to all the participants of the auction and, of course, to the winner!” - wrote Prytula.
"Thank you Olga for such a valuable artifact. This saber has already brought one victory and its price will soon bring victories on the battlefield. All funds from the sale of sabers will be directed to the purchase of automated turrets "ShaBlya" for infantry," the foundation noted.
Olga Kharlan, the most decorated athlete in the history of the Olympic Games of Ukraine, at the 2024 Olympics, Olga won a gold medal in team saber fencing and a bronze medal in individual championship.
Showman Serhiy Prytula and his wife Kateryna bought three one-room apartments in Kyiv for UAH 4.1 million.
