On Sunday, April 6, weather conditions in Ukraine continue to deteriorate. A true spring return of winter is expected in the west of the country - frost at night and wet snow during the day. In most other regions, rainy and cool weather will persist.
The worst weather conditions are predicted in western Ukraine. The temperature here will drop to 0°…–3° at night, and only +1°…+4° is expected during the day. Snow or sleet will fall throughout the day, and sleet is possible.
In northern Ukraine, temperatures will fluctuate between +4°…+7°, although warming to +10° is possible in Sumy region. Wet snow is possible in Zhytomyr region, and rain in other regions.
In the east of the country, it is still warmer, up to +12°…+15°, but also with rain and cloudiness.
The central regions will experience a sharp drop in temperature: in Vinnytsia region only +4°, in Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions – up to +9°, in the rest of the territories – up to +11°. Precipitation is expected during the day, with occasional wet snow.
In the south of Ukraine it will be relatively warmer, but cloudy and rainy. The air temperature will range from +8° to +11°, in Crimea – up to +13°. Heavy rains are possible in some places.
Forecasters warn that weather conditions could complicate the road situation - especially in western regions due to snowfall.
