According to the Ukrainian General Staff, attacks by Russian troops on the cities of Liptsy and Vovchansk continue in the Kharkiv direction. Fighting has also been recorded in other directions adjacent to the mentioned settlements.
Fighting is taking place in the directions Glyboke - Lyptsi, Lukyantsi - Slobozhanske, Pylna - Slobozhanske, Murom - Starytsia, Pletinivka - Vovchansk.
“Our units did not lose any positions. Ukrainian troops continue to carry out defensive and stabilization measures in Vovchansk and keep the situation there under control,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces said.
They say that four attacks were repelled in the directions Pylna - Lyptsi, Lukyanetsi - Slobozhanske, Pylna - Slobozhanske, Murom - Starytsia.
The American Institute for the Study of War reports that Russian troops have advanced east of Glyboky (north of Lyptsy). Near Vovchansk, the Russians have reached the northern outskirts of the village of Staritsa (west of Vovchansk).
The Institute estimates the maximum advance of the Russians from the border in the Kharkiv region at 8 kilometers and believes that the pace of the offensive has decreased.
