The office of the President of Ukraine reported plans to amend the legislation and decrees of the President, which relate to the conscription of men from 18 to 25 years to replenish the military ranks. According to the Advisor of the Department of National Security and Defense, Mykola Shchur, these changes provide for a set of measures that will be presented in the near future.
“There will be a whole set of changes to the legislation and the decrees of the President. Different levels of changes to documents are envisaged. I think the presentation will be a presentation in the coming days, ”Shchr said, clarifying that the technical details are currently agreed and some points can be changed. A special working group worked for the preparation of the concept, which included representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff and NGOs.
The changes will relate to a voluntary contract for men aged 18 to 25 years of age, which are not mobilized. OP emphasizes that financial support will be one of the elements of encouragement. It is also possible that the proposals for changes will be considered at the rates of the Supreme Commander.
