Cataract removal operation, including the installation of an artificial lens, is available for Ukrainians free of charge - within the framework of the medical guarantee program. This was reported on July 14 by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The full package of medical services is paid by the state through the NSAU, and the cost compensated by the state starts from 28 441 UAH depending on individual coefficients.
“Cataract is not just an age -old complication, but one of the main causes of vision loss. That is why we have done everything to get effective treatment for free, ”said the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.

implantation of intraocular lens (including the implant itself);
