The trial of a man suspected of organizing an illegal border crossing scheme for conscripts will begin in Kyiv. According to law enforcement officers, the attacker valued his "services" at 10,000 US dollars.
This was reported in the press service of the capital police. The accused faces up to nine years in prison.
"The perpetrator offered men of conscription age to enroll in a stationary form of education at a higher educational institution in Poland in order to avoid mobilization and cross the state border of Ukraine without hindrance. The businessman valued his services at $10,000, and according to a previous agreement, he was supposed to help the "client" successfully pass online exams," the press service said.
The police detained a 24-year-old "businessman" when he was receiving a reward from a 25-year-old "applicant". At the moment, the investigation into the case of illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine has been completed. The indictment was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
