One of the largest shopping and entertainment centers of Kyiv-the Gulliver shopping center-now belongs to the state. According to Oschadbank Board, Serhiy Naumov, a consortium in Oschadbank and Ukreximbank received the object in the account of the debt of the three O, which previously managed the property.
According to the new distribution, Oschadbank received 80% of the shopping center, and Ukreximbank - 20%. The facility went to banks as a pledge for perennial debts, which reached more than $ 675 million. Oschadbank alone has not received $ 537.2 million, and Ukreximbank - another $ 137.8 million.
In connection with the change of the owner, all tenants of Gulliver are recommended to contact the legal advisor of Oschadbank to re -register the contracts. It is emphasized that there are no reasons to make further lease payments to the previous owner.
The Gulliver shopping center was a guarantee in 2016, when Oschadbank granted three oh loan of $ 460 million, although at that time the pledge cost only half the loan. In 2018, state banks tried to sell the claims on this loan, declaring the starting price of UAH 18.2 billion, but there were no buyers.
Subsequently, the Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kiev transferred Gulliver to the ARMA Office, which organized a competition for the manager. But after lawsuits and unfulfilled obligations, the property finally passed to state banks.
The former owner of the shopping center, Viktor Polishchuk, avoided debt payments during the war, instead continued to buy elite cars and travel abroad. As it is established, he was several times fed into the "path" system as a volunteer driver, but did not bring any help. One of the foreign organizations, the name of which he was covered, publicly stated that no humanitarian mission through Polishchuk was carried out, and her name was used without permission.
