Ukrainians who have special services to their homeland , as well as members of the families of dead (dead) heroes , can count on guaranteed monthly cash . The amount of such payments depends on the award assigned and is determined by the legislation of Ukraine.

The establishment of monthly cash payment is provided for persons who have participated directly in the protection of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and which, since 2014:
- Was awarded the title Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Order of the Golden Star - in the amount of three minimum wages (UAH 24 thousand) set for January 1 of the calendar year (at the rate of the month);
- The Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky of three degrees was awarded - in the amount of two minimum wages (16 thousand UAH) established on January 1 of the calendar year (per month);
- Was awarded the Order of Courage of Three Degrees - in the amount of the minimum wage (UAH 8 thousand), established on January 1 of the calendar year (per month);
- Was awarded the Order of Princess Olga of three degrees - in the amount of the minimum wage (UAH 8 thousand), established on January 1 of the calendar year (per month);
- Members of the families of the dead (dead) citizens from among the above persons - in the amount of minimum wages (UAH 8 thousand), established on January 1 of the calendar year.
The monthly cash payment is appointed and paid from the date of request for its intended purpose. Payment is assigned regardless of whether the applicant is registered in the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine as a recipient of a pension (monthly life -long monetary deduction).
The monthly monetary payment is set without taking into account the amount of the assigned pension/monthly life -long monetary deduction, including the amount of the legislation as much as possible. That is, the person set by the person is limited to 10 subsistence minimums for persons who have lost their ability to work without taking into account the monthly cash payment.
The payment is set at the minimum wage for all family members and is divided between them equally. Persons who are in full state maintenance in the relevant institution (relevant institution) are paid the monthly cash payment.
Persons who are at the same time entitled to receive monthly monetary payment and pension in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Pensions for Special Merit" or for raising and/or pension allowance or monthly life -long monetary deduction in accordance with the laws of Ukraine "On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection,"
The application for the appointment of a monthly cash payment and the necessary documents can be submitted by means of a web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or personally by contacting any service center of the body of the Pension Fund of Ukraine regardless of place of residence, registration or stay.
The right of citizens to monthly financial assistance for service before the Motherland is provided by the Law of Ukraine dated 27.07.2022 No. 2454-IX "On the monthly cash payment to some categories of citizens". The procedure for the appointment and payment of monthly cash payment is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Decree No. 79 of 20.01.2023.
