Before the weekend, Ukraine will continue to experience moderate warming in the southeast and a slight cooling in the west. Temperature contrasts will become especially noticeable: while in Lviv and Lutsk it will be only +12°…+14°, in Kherson and Kramatorsk the thermometer will rise to +22°.
In general, no significant precipitation is expected, rain is possible only in places in the west.
Temperature pattern by region
- Western regions: at night +3°…+8°, during the day +12°…+17°. Short-term rains are expected in Lviv, Uzhhorod and Ivano-Frankivsk.
- Center and north: +5°…+10° at night, +13°…+19° during the day. Moderate wind, no significant precipitation.
- South and east: at night +9°…+14°, during the day the highest temperature in the country is +20°…+23°. In Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia and Kramatorsk, the weather is clear and dry.
- Kyiv: no precipitation in the capital, +16° during the day, +9° at night, light cloudiness.
Friday, March 14, will be a transitional day before the cold snap expected over the weekend. While the weather in the east and south will still be almost summer-like, a gradual decrease in temperature will begin in the west, along with an increase in cloudiness and precipitation.
