In Kharkiv, which is constantly being fired from Russia, continue to develop a safe training system. After Easter, two new underground schools designed for a thousand students will be launched in the city.
Mayor Igor Terekhov reported this on the national telephone.
"After Easter, we will open two more underground schools that are designed for a thousand students. Therefore, children will have the opportunity to learn," Terekhov said.
As of now, there are already six subway stations in Kharkiv, which have been converted to educational institutions. In addition, there are two full underground schools specially equipped for safe conditions.
In general, about 7.5 thousand students are currently studying in such conditions.
Kharkiv became the first city in Ukraine, which implemented a large -scale system of education underground - both in specially equipped classes and at metro stations. This approach allows you to maintain a continuous educational process even in the conditions of daily threat of shelling.
