The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine presented a number of initiatives aimed at improving the qualifications of Ukrainians, including the opportunity to receive a voucher for training through the State Employment Service. This program provides a chance to master new professions or specialties at state expense, compensating costs up to UAH 30,280.
Who is the program available to?
The voucher can be received by:
- citizens over the age of 45,
- participants in hostilities,
- people with disabilities,
- internally displaced persons (IDPs),
- veterans,
- former prisoners
- victims of the war.
How does it work?
Program participants can independently choose a major and an educational institution. Currently, 95 professions and 60 specialties are available.
Voucher receipt procedure:
Online:
- Fill out the form on the official website of the State Employment Service.
- After submitting an application, receive instructions from a career counselor at the specified email address or phone number.
Offline:
- Contact the nearest employment center.
- Get a consultation on the conditions for obtaining a voucher.
The program is aimed at supporting Ukrainians who want to change their profession, improve their qualifications or adapt to new living conditions. In particular, this is relevant for war veterans, displaced persons and those who suffered as a result of the war.
