The owner of the elite hotel complex near Lviv, “Emily Resort,” Kozlovsky, was not included in the final sanctions list prepared by the National Security and Defense Council.
While Kozlovsky escaped sanctions, other oligarchs and politicians, such as Poroshenko, Kolomoisky, Medvedchuk, Zhevago, and Bogolyubov, were included in the NSDC sanctions list on a lifetime basis.
According to sources, Kozlovsky allegedly has compromising information on high-ranking officials who were vacationing at his hotel. This was one of the reasons why he avoided being included in the latest sanctions list.
Recall that Hryhoriy Kozlovsky, the owner of the Emily Resort hotel complex, became famous not only through his business, but also through his connections with famous Ukrainian politicians and businessmen, including those who fell under sanctions, such as Ihor Kolomoisky and Petro Poroshenko. There are assumptions that Kozlovsky actively cooperates with these people in various spheres, including business and politics, which allowed him to develop his empire.
It is known that certain political figures in Ukraine have tried to use his services to solve their own business and political issues, and he has a fairly extensive network of contacts among the Ukrainian elite.
