"Palyanytsa" was put into serial production

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, announced the start of serial production of the Palyanitsa drone missile. This new achievement in military technology was developed jointly by the state and a private enterprise.

The drone missile was first used in combat conditions in Donbas at the end of August 2024. However, after that, its mass use was not recorded.

"Palyanytsia" is a hybrid weapon in the form of a small cruise missile, which probably has a simpler guidance system and a smaller warhead, which makes it less expensive and difficult to manufacture, compared to more powerful cruise and ballistic missiles. This gives Ukraine the opportunity to manufacture such missiles in larger quantities and use them at the front.
