The "Udar" party appealed to the law enforcement agencies with the demand to severely punish the fraudster who tried to defraud entrepreneurs using the party's name and reputation. The party leadership called on the law enforcement officers to quickly investigate the incident and bring the culprit to justice for using illegal methods to obtain benefits.
This was reported by the party's website.
The party is outraged that the swindler cast a shadow over other "hitters" with his actions.
"The swindler did not take into account that the 16.4-hectare plot of land, which became the subject of the detainee's fraud, was previously transferred to a park zone by the decision of the Kyiv City Council. Therefore, it cannot be used for any other purpose, leased or sold. At a time when our party members are volunteering, fighting, rescuing, donating, and defending Ukraine on the front lines and in the rear during the war, the foam of difficult times brings to shore fraudsters who are willing to cross out the honest name of thousands of "strikers". Fraudsters have no place among us," Udara emphasized.
The statement also announced an internal investigation into the inclusion of this person in the ranks of the party.
"Lawyer Oleksandr Sukhanov is a resident of Odesa region, whom the local regional organization of the party really accepted into its ranks a few months ago. The issue of a person passing an internal check will be considered by the party's central controlling bodies. This person has already been expelled from the party, and the history of his inclusion in the party ranks will be checked in detail by the Odesa organization "Udara", the party's statement said.
It will be recalled that earlier the SBU detained Oleksandr Sukhanov, one of the leaders of the Udar party, in Kyiv. He is suspected of extorting $1 million for solving "land issues" in the KMDA.
