From December 15 to January 13, Ukrzaliznytsia was forced to temporarily suspend the operation of a number of trains due to technical reasons. In particular, the canceled trains:
- No. 8/7 Odesa - Kharkiv;
- #148/147 Odesa - Kyiv;
- #774/773 Kyiv – Shostka.
These changes may create inconvenience for passengers, so the carrier has already taken care of alternative routes. Yes, new flights will be introduced instead of canceled trains:
- Trains #105/106 and #763/764 between Kyiv and Odesa.
- Train #059/060 between Kharkiv and Odesa.
- Trains #786/785 and #788/787 Kyiv – Shostka.
New routes are also offered for passengers traveling through intermediate stations:
- For Kremenchuk : train #129/130 Kremenchuk - Uzhgorod to Kyiv, and then transfer to train #105 Kyiv - Odesa. In the return direction – Intercity train No. 764 Odesa – Kyiv and regional train No. 792 Kyiv – Kremenchuk.
- For Cherkasy : travel to Odesa via Kyiv with a transfer to train #105 Kyiv – Odesa. Return by the same route.
- For Poltava : for trips to Odesa, you can use the Intercity+ train No. 723 Kharkiv - Kyiv, after which change to train No. 105 Kyiv - Odesa. In the return direction – train No. 106 Odesa – Kyiv and Intercity+ train No. 724 Kyiv – Kharkiv.
Thanks to these changes, passengers can continue their journeys, albeit on other routes, which guarantee a comfortable arrival at their destination.
