The Supreme Anti -Corruption Court has extended precautionary measures for the former MP and the chairman of the association of employers' organizations “National Association of Defense Industry of Ukraine” Sergey Pashinsky. The reason is the threat of escape and obstruction of the investigation. It became known from the materials of criminal proceedings published by the edition 368.Media.
Pashinsky is suspected of several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

Part 4 of Art. 28 (organization of a criminal group),
-
Part 5 of Art. 191 (a particularly large spar),
-
Part 1 of Art. 255 (creation of a criminal organization).
The case is conducted by NABU under the procedural guidance of the SAP. According to the investigation, Pashinsky in 2014, together with businessman Sergei Tyshchenko, organized a scheme of seizure of 97 thousand tons of arrested petroleum products, which were to be nationalized as the assets of the fugitive oligarch Sergey Kurchenko. The amount of losses, according to the investigation, is over UAH 1 billion.
Particular attention was drawn to the fact of pressure on witnesses. One of the key - the former Deputy Minister of Defense - directly stated that Pashinsky's dismissal was threatened in case of refusal to sign documents with false information about fuel.
In addition, the investigation drew attention to the use of the Pashin media for pressure on the process, as well as the personal connections with the witnesses, with which he, despite the ban, could communicate.
The related criminal proceedings №52024000000000066 under Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code - abuse of power during pressure on one of the witnesses.
According to the SAP prosecutor, Pashinsky has real risks to escape. He has a passport for traveling abroad and made 10 trips outside Ukraine since 2019. In view of this, the court left the obligation to keep passports in public authorities.
Pashinsky is also obliged:

appear on call to NABU, SAP and court;
-
notify about a change of residence;
-
refrain from contact with other persons involved and witnesses.
Duties will be valid until July 14, 2025.
Despite the arrest, Pashinsky escaped a pre -trial detention center, collateral in the amount of UAH 272.52 million. The money was made by six companies related to it through OOR “National Association of Defense Industry of Ukraine”:

LLC "Ukrainian armored vehicles" - 62.52 million UAH

LLC "Ravionics" - 60 million UAH

LLC "Termal Vizhn Teknolodzis" - 40 million UAH

MZATZ LLC - 43 million UAH
-
System Electronic Export LLC - UAH 32 million
-
UMO Ukraine LLC - 35 million UAH
These firms have a total debt to the Ministry of Defense for UAH 364 million, which raises the issue of real sources of bail.
According to the investigation, these companies are de facto controlled by Pashinsky himself, which suggests that the funds were made from his assets.
According to the investigation, Pashinsky declared only UAH 18.14 million during the political career, his wife - UAH 13.07 million. But in fact the family possesses:

elite real estate - houses, chapels, apartments in new buildings;

expensive cars;
-
motor vessel;
-
land plots;
-
securities and cash assets.
These assets were taken into account in determining the amount of collateral, and the amount itself is recognized by the court proportional to the financial condition of the suspect.
