A pensioner from Transcarpathia was sentenced to 5 years for celebrating Cosmonautics Day

In the small village of Bedevlya, Tyachiv District, Zakarpattia Region, a 64-year-old resident was sentenced to five years in prison for celebrating Cosmonautics Day. This unexpected event happened after the pensioner published a post dedicated to the great cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin on her profile in the Odnoklassniki social network.

Grandma displayed a photo with Yuri Gagarin with the caption "Thank you, Yuri Oleksiyovych."

As a result, the woman was found guilty of "justifying Russian aggression against Ukraine" and sentenced to five years in prison.

Of course, the woman denies her guilt and disagrees with the court's decision. However, it is too late: the court is not going to accept her appeal.
