The State Film Agency of Ukraine has approved the new composition of the Council for State Support of Cinematography, which includes individuals closely associated with the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, and former chairman of the Council, Artem Kolyubayev.
One of them, Taras Bosak, is a member of the “Union of Entrepreneurs of the Film and Television Industry,” which is owned by Yermak and managed by Kolyubayev.
Bosak is called Kolyubayev's right-hand man, who collaborates with him at the company "Mainstream Pictures", which is one of the "winners" and a recipient of budget funds for its projects - both in the past and now.
To get rid of Kolyubaev, the previous composition of the Council was dissolved through the court. The last straw was the fact that the film production company of the then chairman of the Council, Kolyubaev, “Mainstream Pictures,” received financing for three films at once.
At the same time, the Kolyubaev family, who fled the war, bought a house in the United States for $600,000.
