In Kiev on the left bank there was a shooting during a police chase behind the offender. A man on a Mercedes car tried to escape from law enforcement, and to stop him, patrolmen were forced to open fire.
According to the Left Bank of Kiev Telegram, eyewitnesses reported the persecution that took place in the Dniprovsky district of the capital. The Mercedes driver violated traffic rules and ignored the police demand. Instead, he began to flee, creating dangerous situations on the road.
Law enforcement officers decided to use a sheet weapon to stop the offender. It is known that several shots were made on the wheels of the car.
The details of the incident are not yet disclosed - neither the reasons for the persecution nor the condition of the driver himself. It is only known that the pursuit was long, and the police made every effort to delay the offender. The law enforcement officer even tried to stop the Mercedes clutching the car door, but the driver did not affect the driver.
Similar cases have already occurred in the capital. Earlier, police detained a driver who, running away, damaged two office cars and committed an accident.

During patrols in the Dniprovsky district, inspectors found and stopped the driver of the Mercedes car that violated the traffic regulations. During the verification of the documents, the man behaved aggressively, tried to hit police officers and left the scene. To terminate the unlawful acts, in accordance with paragraph 7 of Part 4 of Art. 46 of the Law of Ukraine “On National Police”, the inspector fired one shot in the direction of the vehicle, but the driver Mercedes continued the traffic. We are currently looking for the offender. The circumstances of the event are recorded by an investigative team.
