The first mass grave of soldiers who died in the war with the Russian Federation appeared in Ukraine

The first mass grave of soldiers who gave their lives in the fight against Russian aggression appeared in Chernivtsi.

16 military personnel died as a result of an air raid on March 11, 2022, on Lyudvynivka, Kyiv region, the lawyer of the families of the victims, Halyna Yanko, reported.

A mass grave was arranged at the "Sadgora" cemetery. 16 soldiers of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade "Edelweiss" were buried in it, who were identified with difficulty with the help of Ukrainian and foreign specialists. These are natives of Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, and Donetsk regions.

Three more victims of the airstrike, buried there, were never identified.
