Ukraine's first agreement on the purchase of innovative robotic turrets

The Saber automated machine gun system successfully crossed the path from a start-up to a sustainable project.

An innovative device intended for machine gunners and designed to preserve the life and health of soldiers with the help of remote work, received a contract from the state. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on January 9 in his Facebook account.

According to him, the mass production of Shablya turrets became possible thanks to the support of defense technological developments in Ukraine from the Brave1 cluster.

"Saber" is an innovative weapon for modern warfare... Our goal is to facilitate the creation of innovations so that they get to the battlefield faster, are effectively used and receive feedback. These innovations have great potential," he said.
