A new sociological survey conducted by the NGO "Advanced Legal Initiatives" reveals the sharp attitude of the Ukrainian people to key events in the country. According to the survey, a significant majority of citizens are against the resignation of Valery Zaluzhny (80.45%) and express disapproval of forced mobilization (89.72%). Note that the greatest support is observed for voluntary mobilization, which is accompanied by additional financial motivation (93.97%), as well as for the conscription of security forces working in the rear (86.54%).
According to the study, these events significantly influenced the political preferences of citizens. If the presidential elections were held today, Valery Zaluzhnyi would win the largest number of votes (38.16%), followed by Volodymyr Zelenskyi (16.17%), Yulia Tymoshenko (9.91%) and Petro Poroshenko (8.08%). ). However, if Valery Zaluzhny refused to participate in the elections, the situation will change: the leadership will go to Volodymyr Zelenskyi (21.01%), followed by Yulia Tymoshenko (18.83%), Petro Poroshenko (14.14%) and Vitaliy Klitschko (6.64%).
If parliamentary elections were held today, only four parties would enter the Rada: Valery Zaluzhny's party (36.92%), Volodymyr Zelenskyi's block (12.76%), Yulia Tymoshenko's "Batkivshchyna" (9.84%) and "European Solidarity" of Petro Poroshenko (7.65%). The remaining parties gain much less support, not exceeding 3%.
The study was conducted from February 9 to 11, 2024, among 5,105 respondents in Ukraine (except occupied and front-line regions) and abroad, where a significant number of Ukrainian refugees are located. Different survey methods were used, such as "face-to-face" and telephone interviews through the mobile application of the "IQR" system, developed by "PPI" specialists. The error of representativeness does not exceed 2.0%.
